Wealthy Affiliate University For Newbies
What The Celt Learned There!

When I joined Wealthy Affiliate University a while back at a subscription price of $39 a month, cheaper if you join by the year, I got way more than I bargained for at making money online.

For those of you not joined yet, or thinking of joining, here’s what happens. They put you on an 8 week training program and bamboozle the bejasus out of you, so much so, that your brain is frothing from your left front ventilation shaft system, that it would take you a lifetime to figure it out.

What interested me in the first place was all the “success stories” on their high class sale pitch pages which have been floating around now and for a while. So, I decide to give it a try and learn some new stuff. I thought, why not? With all this success, I wanted part of it!

When I checked out these so called success stories in the forum, I found that there were certainly stories alright, but what is a success story? Is it a new Affiliate Marketer having been with Wealthy Affiliate University for 8 Months, yes, I said 8 months, and made 1 sale (a Total of 1 Sale) with a Clinkbank product.

Now, I don’t know bout you, but I don’t consider that very successful and the math just don’t add up and here’s why. 8 by $39 = $312. Whoah?, is that right? Of course its right.
So, lets see, $312 – $27 for a click bank sale = $295 for Wealthy Affiliate University.

Don’t feel so bad newbies, it gets better!
“ I’m being a little facetious here, tee hee”

This place is a “Breathing Ground for Gurus” and for those of you that don’t know what a “guru” is, I will tell you. A guru is an Affiliate Marketer that has made his/her way up the chain and is now sitting, on the heap pile. King of the Hilll, top of the heap!. I could think of few other descriptions but I want to keep this little blog family orientated, but you get the idea.

Ask yourself this? Why are there “gurus” training at Wealthy Affiliate University? I will tell you why! They are simply there, not to learn, but to quietly stalk the newbies and sell them “their products” over a period of time. This is what’s known as a breaking in period for the newbies.

The reason the newbies join Wealthy Affiliate University in the first place, is to gain the knowledge necessary, and to know how to market a product and ultimately make money online., and not to be taken advantage of in this manner. Hey, a lot of this stuff can be learned for free just by doing a google search. And I mean a lot!

I stayed with Wealthy Affiliates for 2 months @ $39.00 and a 1 week Special for $1 and was charged $118.00. But, you say that doesn’t add up? You got that right! They are the only company that I know, how to turn One Week into 8 Days and 24 into 25 hours, because their Credit Card machine told them to do it and charged me for an extra month.

Yes, I learned a good lesson and the lesson is~ Watch out for the “ruthless gurus”
They will befriend you and suck you dry for as much as they think you are worth and then pass you on like an old rag doll to their comrades, to get fleeced some more. The cunning part is, you wont even know its happening until its too late and you’ve spent a small fortune!

Yeah, you say, that wont happen to me! And you’re just crying over spilled milk, but you mark my words. Remember its all in “The List” and who do you think is on that list? Yep, the newbies. Freebies for the newbies. Dont you know by now there is no such thing a freebies and if you dont you shouldnt be in this game.

Yes, I was mad when this happened, but I have calmed down since and as someone dear to me pointed out, hey Celt? It could have been a lot worse and you could have been taken for more.. I agree, even though it sticks in my craw to be taken even for a buck. 39 bucks in the craw is hard to swallow. it’s the principal that counts, right? Oh well, life goes on!

Hey people, do yourself a favor and stay away from anything to do with “digital products” from any Internet Marketers. The only people making any money out of this game is the Affiliates that have produced their own products and have them sitting there on Clickbank for the newbies to promote. Its a numbers game.

Get yourself a good physical product. Join Amazon, eBay, Linkshare, Commision Junction, or the likes and possibly get 1-2 digital products but not a slew of them and have at it! I am slowly weeding out these “shady gurus” and will be recommending certain products that will help you.

Anyway, nuff said for now. I want to leave you with some positive thoughts. Every dog has their day. What goes around comes around. Remember, it’s all in the “sevens” $17, $27, $37, $47, $97 and so on. Don’t believe me?, check out the Affiliate Products on clickbank. Hell, even I sell a product for seven bucks. I guess you could say I learned something!

Look, I’m a musician and Internet Marketer and I know that I’ve been spouting off about digital products but sometimes you do have to learn certain things about Affiliate Marketing and I have, and have made money into the bargain. But, I tell it like it is and the only person that I can honestly recommend and trust at the moment, where you can actually learn something, is with a lady called Tiffany Dow. Follow her and get her book, its a gem. Its called eBook Empire and yes I will make a commision if you order through this link.
Building an eBook Empire
Anyway, it covers a boat load of stuff that will help you, that is if you decide that internet marketing or affiliate marketing is right for you.

Don’t be taken by the mish-mash crap that’s re-circulating hogwash from Billy to Jack and ends up with scuttle-bug that will have your head floating in the mire. Take it from The Celt and you wont go too far astray. Sign up for my Affiliate Marketing Tips here and don’t get screwed by the gurus.

Cheers and Happy Shenanigans.! I will have more tips and genuine recommendations on affiliate marketing, so stay tuned and spread the word.

Celtic Seamus Sings House of the Rising Sun MP3

Listen Here To House of the Rising Sun MP3 Performed by Celtic Seamus

This is my version of House of the Rising Sun. The last time I was in New Orleans was when the big casino Harrahs opened. I won five bucks there and gave it to a busker singing this very song.

New Orleans is starting to make a come back after the hurricane Katrina. I hope to make it back there some day, may even visit the house of the rising sun. Anyway, here are the lyrics. Enjoy

House of the Rising Sun Lyrics

There is a house in New Orleans
They call the Rising Sun
And it’s been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God I know I’m one

My mother was a tailor
She sewed my new bluejeans
My father was a gamblin’ man
Down in New Orleans

Now the only thing a gambler needs
Is a suitcase and trunk
And the only time he’s satisfied
Is when he’s on a drunk

Oh mother tell your children
Not to do what I have done
Spend your lives in sin and misery
In the House of the Rising Sun

Well, I got one foot on the platform
The other foot on the train
I’m goin’ back to New Orleans
To wear that ball and chain

Well, there is a house in New Orleans
They call the Rising Sun
And it’s been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God I know I’m one
